2 police officers reject $21M bribe, get promotion
The officers had reportedly rejected the huge sum from a pipeline vandal, Samuel Wilberforce, when he tried to lure the officers to do his will.
For rejecting a bribe of $21million, two officers of the Nigerian Police Force have been promoted and commended by the Police Service Commission.
The officers, Olusoji Akinbayo and Inspector Sunday Idowu had reportedly rejected the huge sum from a pipeline vandal, Samuel Wilberforce, when he tried to lure the officers to do his will.
It was reported that the officers had arrested Wilberforce for pipeline vandalisation with his gang, but the officers rejected the inducement and arrested the suspects.
