O.J. Simpson granted parole-video

O.J. Simpson who appeared in court today at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada for his parole hearing has been granted parole. He could be out of prison by October.

Simpson who was convicted in 2008 for armed robbery in a Las Vegas hotel room is serving a jail term of 33 years.. Simpson 70 who has served nine years of his 33 years jail term was considered for parole by four board Parole members.

In 1995 Simpson was found not guilty in the killing of ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.

However, in 1997, he was found guilty by a civil court for their deaths and ordered to pay $33.5 million to survivors including his children and the Goldman family.
