Barcelona CONFIRM Neymar is leaving: Superstar tells team-mates he will join PSG
PSG are ready to activate the £199million (€220m) release clause in his Barcelona contract to make him the world’s most expensive player this summer.
And Barca confirmed this morning that the Brazilian superstar has been allowed to miss training.
The Spanish giants tweeted: “Neymar Jr hasn’t trained on Wednesday with the permission of the coach #FCBlive”.
It read: “FC Barcelona returned to training this Wednesday morning after the American tour, the first part of a double session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
“Before the morning session began, Neymar Jr. informed those present of his wish to leave the Club and was therefore given permission to miss training and resolve his future.
“Ernesto Valverde was otherwise able to count on all the players available with Gerard Deulofeu, André Gomes and Ter Stegen rejoining the group which included Varo and Alena of Barca B.”
Neymar was pictured driving into Barcelona’s Joan Gamper Sports Complex earlier this morning.

One of his agents is said to be in Paris as his move to PSG becomes a reality.
And Spanish newspaper Sport say Neymar has told his team-mates he is leaving Barcelona to sign for the French giants in the next few days.
PSG are going to La Liga offices this afternoon after La Liga claimed they will not accept the £199m payment to trigger Neymar’s release clause.
A statement read: “We will not accept the money for the clause. We have doubts this money is in accordance with UEFA Financial Fair Play rules.”

Neymar took the opportunity to attent to promotional events in China, posting numerous updates on Instagram.
But as he arrived back at their base today it became clear he would not be sticking around.
Sport add Neymar announced to his team-mates he was joining PSG as he entered the dressing room.
Most Barca players were convinced he would snub PSG and stay at the Nou Camp but he has now made a firm decision regarding his future.

In quotes reported by various European news outlets, Al-Khelaifi said: “Right now, Neymar is a Barcelona player and we’ll see what happens with him.
“We respect all contracts signed with other clubs and players.
“To be honest, I’d rather not to talk about this matter now. I hope to do it at another time.”
PSG’s squad contains four players who have played with Neymar for Brazil, with Dani Alves – also a team-mate at Barcelona – having already joined the club this summer.
