The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has on Monday afternoon, tactically joined the nationwide protest against President Muhammadu Buhari’s bad governance.

‘’I have heard the cries of Nigerians on their sufferings loud and clear,” Osinbajo said.

He admitted that the nation is in what he called a serious economic situation.

He said while the President had acknowledged it, he himself saw it while going round the country.

“We hear you loud and clear,” Osinbajo said.

Osinbajo, also said in a chain of reactions on his Twitter page said that the yearnings of the protesters, have been heard and the administration will implement policies that will address all issues raised.

“To those who are on the streets protesting the economic situation & those who are not, but feel the pain of economic hardship, we hear you,” Osinbajo said.

The comment came hours after hundreds of Nigerians took to the streets in Lagos and Abuja, to condemn and seek a timely solution to worsening economic crisis in the country.

The protesters lampooned the administration for failing to address inflation that has seen food prices increase in the last few months.
