Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has been appointed as a Senior Special Assistant by the Government of Kogi State.
The curvy thespian was among 54 Senior Special Assistants appointed and approved by the Kogi State Government into the various offices in the administration.
According to a statement issued today by Dr. Mrs. Ayoade Folashade Arike, Secretary to the State Government, in Lokoja, the appointments are effective from 1st of April, 2017.

The statement by Dr. Arike also noted that the appointment is to recognise and encourage outstanding contributions to the New Direction Agenda championed by Kogi State.
