The most deadly mass shooting in US history 58 dead more than 500 wounded as music star performs

More than 58 people have died and more than 500 wounded in the most deadly mass shooting in US history as country music star Jason Aldean was performing to a sold out crowd when the shots were fired in a music festival at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas Sunday night.

The star was performing for about 20 minutes before the non stop shooting started.  However, the singer is safe following the incidence.

The shooter who was on 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay hotel.Police responded to the scene, engaged him and he is now dead. Law enforcement officials identified the suspect as 64 year old Stephen Paddock.

Aldean posted a message to Instagram, saying that his heart hurts.

Motive for the shooting is yet unknown.

Authorities are still looking for the companion of the shooter, Marilou Danley, as well as two vehicles.

Meanwhile music stars have taken to twitter to express solidarity and pray for the victims.
